MAIN COORDINATOR FOR MECHANICAL, PIPING AND OUTFITTING

We are looking for an experienced engineer, who is familiar with megayacht, patrol-and workboats and/or offshore living accommodations. English skills in speaking and writing.

General job description

Execution and coordination of the work relating to the domestic and mechanical piping systems, outfit for a motor yacht under construction, in an efficient and timely manner. This involves providing the proper documentation for purchasing, production and classifying authorities.

Job responsibilities

1) Distribution of information

• Supervise and gives advice to the Section of Mechanical, Piping and Outfit engineering – and project team members
• Supervise the production coordinators and subcontractors with advice and solutions in the technical field during the engineering, outfitting and commissioning phases
• Coordinates, directs and reviews the applicable mechanical design and engineering information for the assigned yard numbers

2) Engineering

• Collects from others and studies all relevant information on the specification of the yacht, standards and regulations to carry out the applicable engineering activities
• Supervise systems diagrams, arrangement plans and combination drawings
• Writes technical purchase specifications for materials, equipment and installations
• Analyzes technical problems and comes to suitable resolutions
• Checks prepared documents upon completeness, correctness, coherence, makeability and consistency with the related documents

3) Other activities

• Maintains contact with (inter-)national authorities, classification societies, subcontractors and suppliers
• Organizes and participates actively in meetings and draws up the minutes
• Keeps informed of technical, rules & regulatory developments
• Points out and presents proposals for product improvements and working methodologies.
• Programs: AutoCAD, Nupas-Cadmatic or other

CADMATIC PIPING/OUTFITTING ENGINEER

We are looking for experienced engineers, who are familiar with megayacht, patrol-and workboats and/or offshore living accommodations. Good English skills in speaking and writing.

You will be trained in The Netherlands for up to 3 month to become familiar with our client’s team and our detailed building and documentation standards before you return permanently to Gdansk.

PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGIST

• experienced in aluminium and steel ship constructions
• knowledge of MS Office (MS Access is a plus), AUTO CAD, Rhinoceros
• knowledge of English or German language
